The story was great and the writing was pitch perfect. I dropped a star and a half because in some of the issues the art was very cartoony and looked more like a webcomic than the gorgeous fantasy art that Conan sometimes leans into, or a more common traditional comic style, either of which I prefer, and because of the strange way in which Olivia switches her attention between Conan and the Captain towards the end of the book. It seemed overly convenient and sort of devalued her time with Conan.

Otherwise, a great romp, with the perfect Conan tone and enough set pieces, action, and giant monsters to keep any Conan fan happy.
