👍 Rivals to Lovers

Conrad and Alden have such a good rivals to lovers relationship. They both play the card game Odyssey and have the opportunity to play in tournaments, something that is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip. If they win it would help solve some of the problems in their lives.

The queer rep in this book was so nicely written, I loved how it was all normalized, and how there were so many queer characters. The found family was everything. And I have to mention how much I loved all the artwork throughout this book!

I love how well the characters worked together how the rivals became friends and then boyfriends. The grumpy x sunshine trope fit their personalities so well.

Genuinely a delightful read. Throughly entertaining! While technically rivals to lovers, the second they actually take the chance in getting to know each other, they're insanely kind and accommodating for one another. They have very sweet chemistry and I enjoyed them dearly.
