Another thrilling story for Movie Club Mysteries! Definitely enjoyed this more than the last book. A little more intriguing on the whole who dunnit scale. 3 different cases going at the same time and the Cat is hailed as the hero! I keep wondering if Maggie and Liam’s relationship will take off and if they will get married? Beth has a happy ending with a new baby on the way! Can’t wait for the next book!

Another quality entry in the Movie Club Mystery series, this one shifts the setting to a film set on the nearby Dolphin Island. I love spending more time with the growing cast of characters — especially watching Maggie's relationship with her influencer/actress sister, the lead in the film being shot — and get a good laugh out of the mysteries, which are light in tone despite a murder occurring in each.

There are two places on the planet I never want to visit - the town/county of Midsomer, and Whisper Island - they both have a disproportionate number of murders!
Though at least on Whisper Island we have Maggie, Liam and Lenny looking out for us!
I really enjoyed this 6th installment in the Movie Club series.
I liked learning more about Maggie's sister -even if she was quite unlikable at times. The dynamic between them was interesting to say the least.
I am usually pretty cluey, and have a bit of an idea of whodunnit, however with this one I was very late to the game on even having an inkling of who it was, and I like that.
I have always liked Maggie's assistang Lenny, however in this installment, I felt that he really came into his own, and is still as amusing as every.
And Liam is still as wonderful as ever.
I look forward to more Whisper Island adventures

This is only my second Zara Keane book. I love the Movie Club Mysteries and this one does not disappoint. The action is fast-paced and keeps the reader guessing. I enjoy the interactions of the characters as well as how the plot all ties together. I highly recommend Some Like It Shot.
