Brim over boot
There’s one trope I love above everything else and that’s bi awakening. Two bi awakenings? I’ll get the book and read the blurb later. Pare it with enemies to lovers and its like catnip to me
I’ve been waiting impatiently for Brim over boot since Emmy Sanders announced in Sweet like Whiskey and boy this book didn’t disappoint. The way the relationship between the men evolves along us reading and the way they also grow in the story… Emmy is a master with words and a master to bring the characters to life. I loved Noah. Big, tough Noah with a heart of gold, but it’s Colton that really stole the story for me. There’s a lot of want to say about him, but that would spoil the story so I’ll leave him with a hint that I will not look at a carrot for a while without snorting.

Emmy and her enemies-to-lovers!
This book was delightful and full of fun banter.
Even though Colton was a bit too strung up, Noah managed to cover for any deficiency Colton might have.
Their animosity did not make sense until the explanation, almost at the end of the book, but the MCs and their chemistry managed to make us not care about it.
The Darling family and Noah's uncle definitely helped with that.
I enjoyed this book and I read it in one sitting. Noah King is the best and Colton Darling is really lucky to have him. I said it!!!

This book just hit me hard, I don't even know why. The rivalry was great, but when you started to see a different side to Colton, that just did me in. I loved how Noah understood quite from the start what Colton needed and wanted, even if he couldn't verbalise it. It wasn't an easy journey for these two but they both got what they needed.
The Shoein', the treasure hunt, the marks - fantastic!
I just love these two, Colton for finally letting his guards down, and Noah for being sure in what he wants.

5❤️🔥
I’m not sure what Emmy Sanders sprinkles on her books, but I’m addicted.
Like it’s a need now. Not a want. I could survive off her words alone!
So let me tell you about Noah and Colt.
I swear, the tension was palpable.
I laughed. (I’ll never look at root vegetables again the same).
Shook my head.
Pined. Swooned. 👀 Noah, you know what you’re doing!
Teared up. My heart just couldn’t …
If there was an emotion, I had it.
And loved the ride along the way 💗
Of the Darling Brothers so far, this is my fave.
I immediately want a reread.
☑️rivals to lovers
☑️hate to love you
☑️double awakening
☑️one horse
☑️barn shenanigans
P.s. I am dying for Remi’s Story 😍
