I see what the hype is about! What a vivid, moving, emotional story. I am sold on second chance romance.

I appreciate the portrayal of a healthy way the characters try to come back to each other. It really shows growth to say “hey I don’t think I’m okay. I need to heal on my own first.”

Loved this beyond, beyond. Every word miraculous and just what it needs to be. Such gorgeously drawn characters, from the smallest side folks to the incredible MCs, each with powerful and deeply human challenges, layers, and growth. I adored the audio and can’t wait to have my hands on a physical copy - I will read it again. I loved it more than I have loved anything in a long time and it will stay with me forever.

Ugh this book was so heartbreaking but so beautiful. I absolutely devoured Eva and Shane’s story. I loved the part of it that seemed like “fate” and then their realization that they just can’t be apart from each other. I’m a sucker for a couple that feels inevitable. Especially one that is getting a second chance at that love. And wow was that just what this couple was.

I loved seeing this Black joy being celebrated in their relationship, and seeing that her joy was not a problem, but rather something that set her free. And wow what a beautiful story.
