I absolutely love these characters and this story. When I say I don't mind a slow burn as long as I see chemistry and tension between the characters, this is what I mean. While I wish the tension was more filled, I could definitely see why they enjoy each other's company and would fall in love. I also really enjoyed the backstory and underlying plot points to this book.

How was I reading this for a month? Um, only go into this if you are on a roll with reading... it will NOT get you out of your slump! It will only make it worse!! I love Aurora and Rhodes, like genuinely so much, but I think Zapata adds too much filler. With that being said, it does make the story feel more fleshed out and you get a better sense of the characters, and when they finally get together in the last 200 pages it feels more worth it. BUT 600 pages for this is actually out of this world bizarre to me.
