Katee Robert

Enjoyed this one, loved the relationship dynamic between the 3. I wasnt the biggest fan of Hades, felt like he came across quite selfish in certain aspects. I loved Meg and her strong badass attitude, loved how Hercules kind of balanced them both out. These books are definitely heavier on the spice than they are plot but they are still enjoyable reads.

As much as I kept picturing the Disney faces of their namesakes... 😆 this book was solid! I'd be a sub for Hades any day 😏

Definitely more smut than plot, but still very much enjoyed.  I really liked finding out what happened to Zeus's son (mentioned in the Dark Olympus series) and also find out about Dark Olympus Hades's 'Jonah' doesn't know that his Father is still alive.  Or does he.
fast-paced

One of the things I love about Katee Robert is the detail she puts in her story. I love how this links up (or will) to Neon Gods, which is the first book of hers I read. Next stop is reading her short story about the Hades/Hades reunion! I’m anxious to read what happens next in Carver City :-)

Read this for indulgence, im a huge fan of Neon Gods (my 1st ever book by Katee Roberts & she became an author i try to read her back catalogues), this was expected as one's expect, smut with fun times, would i say it had depth, No, plot not that much, but if you love fairytale retelling with MMF & BDSM, go for it! Desperate measures is still the best in the series for me!

once again, this series is very lackluster compared to dark olympus. the spice is perfect, katee robert never fails there. however, the romance and overall storyline were pretty boring. hades has very little personality despite the trauma he’s endured. outside of sex, it’s kind of unclear why meg and hercules have feelings for him. katee’s characters don’t always have a ton of depth, but they usually have SOME likeable qualities. hades just… doesn’t. plus his actions in desperate measures were kind of awful and we never saw any redemption for them. i was excited for this book because of the ties to neon gods, but it definitely left a lot to be desired.
regardless! this is a fun series. if you enjoy dark olympus and like katee’s writing style you’ll probably still have fun reading these books…. but it’s definitely not on the same level as most of her other writing.
