I went in not expecting much, but sometime I get pleasantly surprised. I promise a better review by the end of the year, but it was good to end Halloween 2014 on a high note.

The prefect blend of sci-fi, horror and comedy. This was exactly what I was hoping it would be-Funny, gory, zombie filled. I had a blast reading this one it felt like a love letter to Star Trek and early zombie movies. Having each chapter title come from the titles of various episodes of all the Trek shows was a cherry on top.

I really enjoyed this unique take on the zombie trope. The setting of a Star Trek con was perfection- it cracked me up that the characters, despite being in these horror filled scenarios, kept refusing to drop their cosplay acts killed me. The characters in this book were so fun and lovable.. The whole bit with the red shirt curse had me in tears, add in the Princess Leia character (you're in the wrong building lady) running around in giant puffy Enterprise slippers and really what's not to love.

If you like zombies, Star Trek, cons or fun I highly recommend reading this one.

I saw a guy reading this book on the train and as being a star trek fan and a zombie fan I just had to read this book. After reading this book I don't think I would like to go to a Star Trek Convention. This book kept me hooked!
