I didn't find this as intriguing as Persepolis.

Satrapi's follow up to the 2 Persepolis books is another graphic novel. This one focuses on the private lives of Iranian women. It is a much quicker read than either Persepolis. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I like Persepolis 1 & 2. I attended an author appearance by Satrapi while she was promoting this book. She's a captivating storyteller.

Women talking without men around is a gift, especially if they’re not working at the time.
