I always liked Blink-182 so it was interesting to learn some backstory of how the band formed and to learn about Mark Hoppus life story.

I am obsessed with this book. It made me laugh, it made me cry. I never thought I would be able to relate so much to a world famous rock star, but here we are. Listening to the audiobook was a 10/10.

Despite knowing a lot of blink and Mark's story, this memoir still managed to surprise me. The timeline gets a little fuzzy and some recurring faces aren't always reintroduced properly, but overall super well written. Loved the small callbacks to lyrics and songs all throughout.

i was never gonna have a bad time reading a book about blink-182. i was born in 1996 and so for as long as i can remember i've been aware of mark, tom and travis (and matt). i was still surprised by how much i was engrossed listening to mark tell the stories of the enema of the state days. maybe it's the filthy drama hog in me that wanted to hear the juicy details about what happened with mark and tom and i was not disappointed

early on in the book he describes their relationship as a marriage and it seems abundantly clear that that is the case. i love platonic soulmates man. blink 182 forever man.
