Entertaining enough but I don’t know if I’ll continue with the series. I liked idea of an ancient magick being passed down through the generations, but the writing style felt inexperienced and I didn’t like the love interest.

What a beautiful read, seeped in Irish folklore. Tricia O'Malley really sets the scene hence my beautiful comment, I'm not from Ireland myself but from one of the channel islands in the UK and i can really Envision the little seaside village i grew up in with the chine and all its haunted stories.. I loved the details in this book down to the names of the characters.
I also loved how Keelan the main character mentions science has proven that tides move in relation to the moon. Reading this gave me, the reader the belief in magic while reading. The paranormal aspect isn't very over exaggerated so a part of me could believe in some truth to it.
The reason its four stars and not 5 is i felt Keelan and Flyn's relationship was rushed, although i loved them together, they just fitted together to perfectly too quickly i like books with a few hurdles in that department but that's my only whim, i loved every other aspect, a nice gentle read.

I really enjoyed this story and would have loved it being even longer. Keelin and Flynn were the perfect in their intensity and push-pull chemistry. Looking forward to more in the series

A friend of mine recently returned from Ireland and recommended these books to me. It was alright, but not my favorite. The main character Keelin, has lived in Boston her whole life. She goes to Ireland to be with her grandmother Fiona. She discovers she has “witchy” powers - she is a healer. I loved Keelin’s exploration of her powers and her love of Ireland. The love interest Flynn was a little too controlling and frustrating for my personal taste.
I think if this was my first romance novel I would have loved it, but it’s not and I was underwhelmed. It’s currently free on Amazon. I’d recommend it if you want a light contemporary romance with a hint of fantasy.

I enjoyed this book but it didn’t captivate me as much as I wanted. The plot was good but I kind of knew what was going to happen, i liked the characters they were engaging and I enjoyed getting to know them. I’m probably not going to continue this series but I may pick up another book to see if I enjoy it more as the author definitely has potential.
