An amazing follow-up to House of Blood and Earth. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more exciting, House of Sky and Breath takes it all to the next level! Everything you think you know about Crescent City will change. The plot and intrigue is full of twists and turns. The character growth is great and I love all the MCs even more. As always, the action is epic and nonstop. The romance finally delivers in this installment and it is FIRE!  I must start the next book right away!

honestly this book was way better the second time through also.
i forgot how it ended, though, and it makes me feel a bit meh about starting the next one.

“But one day a warrior arrived in the forest. He’d heard of the monster so vicious no one could kill it and live. She set out to slaughter him, but when the warrior beheld her he was not afraid. He stared at her and she at him and he wept because he didn’t see a thing of nightmares, but a creature of beauty. He saw her and he was not afraid of her. And he loved her.”

The Hind is my favorite character and you can’t convince me otherwise.
