Another exemplary collection of anecdotes about her idiosyncratic family—highly recommended. Jackson’s dry wit and patient style (some would say discipline but that sunmons different sorts of demons) provide cozy mirth without skimping on the sly self-awareness that makes for a great read.

So funny, and an absolutely perfect read to escape this hellscape 2020.

Enjoyed this one just as much, if not even a little more, as the first of Jackson’s memoirs. This one had me laughing out loud in multiple places. These novels really capture the silent work that is motherhood.
