I actually enjoyed this more than her first memoir, but I think that's because I knew what expect. The book is well written; Jackson is witty and funny. However, it is outdated and full of antiquated ideas. Still, I was entertained and appreciated the small, if calculated, glimpse into her life.

Not as awesome as her novels, but funny nonetheless.

Even funnier than Life Among the Savages, and an appropriate read for December, as it ends with a ridiculously perfect Christmas story. Sally and Barry are the stars, here.

With four children of my own, there was plenty I could relate to--and since this is 2015, plenty that I'm happy to report I couldn't relate to at all.
