So boring, it took so long to get started (and at the 30% mark it still hasn't). So much additional descriptions for things that seem so unnecessary. The characters felt so pretentious, I genuinely did not care for any of them. Also a lot of talk about body image issues.

The author introduced many threads, some of which were misleading and others which didn't go anywhere, really. This is not a criticism. It helped to delay me from fully guessing what was going on.

There is also a stabbing, voyeurism, and the plot depends heavily upon IVF and donor siblings.
This had a good setup, with Hannah's summation of her family and setting the stage for their unwanted vacation set into motion by her brother. The insidious voice of the mysterious Trina. The unsettling Braxen, the landlord of the vacation rental who seems a little too involved.
From there, it could get kind of chaotic at times. Maybe there were too many narrators, and Henry's involvement seemed to take away from the story until you saw how it came together in the end. The last few chapters were a little off putting and left me a little disappointed.

Maybe *3.5, but this one was tough for me. So many different storylines and I wasn’t sure how they were going to come together. It finally did at the end, but this one just wasn’t one of my favorites.
