I really liked this book. I thought it was different in the way the author spins the use of genealogy. I thought the dual timelines and multiple POVs were seamlessly written, although at times I did have to go back and re-listen, to make sure I knew exactly what time and which character we were at. (But this was a me problem.)
Unreliable characters are my thing and there are a ton of them in this book but they make this story so much more interesting! I enjoyed that there were multiple things happening with all the characters that seemed to be unrelated but they all tied together in the end so well! And I was not expecting how everything went down!

Another book that I totally didn't expect the twist/plot change. It was definitely unexpected and a little complicated and hard to follow in parts - so many characters - but I liked it overall. A dark and twisty thriller that reminds us we don't truly know anyone, even family. It was probably my least favorite by this author so far.
I inhaled this book in two days. I was waiting hoping I would get selected to preview Lisa Unger's new book, Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six”. I absolutely love all of Lisa’s books.
I highly recommend this book. All of the characters were engaging. The plot has twists you won’t see coming. It is a great vacation read.
