Best-Friends - Strangers - Lovers
This is my first book by Ella Kit & I bloody loved it! Devowered it!
Oh man, this book! Just some ex best-friends mindlessly traveling to win back their ex girlfriend, only to fall in love with each other!
I loved this book! Nathan & Caleb, best friends since high school … i was unsure about Caleb in the beginning but we finally kinda understand his motives even if they were silly, he just wanted to take care of Nathan

The plot was fun — friends who turn into kind of rivals because they’re both crushing on the same girl. They basically go from friends 👉🏻rivals 👉🏻 strangers 👉🏻 rivals again 👉🏻 surprise feelings for each other. I actually really enjoyed the progression of their relationship and the idea behind the story was super cute. The two guys were great characters, and I liked seeing how their dynamic shifted over time.
Now… the girl? I hated her. I don’t care. She annoyed me. I get that she didn’t want to commit to anyone, but she felt like she was stringing both of them along the whole time. That part frustrated me so much.
When the boys finally figured it out and ended up together, I did like it — but it felt a little rushed for me. I know it was technically a rekindling, but considering all their history, I would’ve loved to sit with their relationship just a little longer before wrapping things up.
Overall, if you’re looking for a pretty quick, low-ish angst story with a cute, unconventional romance and a fun friends-to-rivals-to-lovers vibe, you’ll probably enjoy this one!
