I am completely blown away. Completely awestruck. So much gorgeous art and backstory have gone into this book, and I am praying to Sarenrae that they make a volume 2, because I need it. I need the beauty of this story in my life always.

Amazing art. I love the way the summaries of the story and characters has been written. Can't wait until volume 2 comes out. Also, volume 3, because volume 3 will have Jester in it, and Jester is the best thing in D&D EVER!

What can I say about this art book?

It is absolutely gorgeous. It is a bit tongue-in-cheek. It is a wonderful summary of the adventures of Vox Machina throughout the beginning years of their adventures.

In short, it's perfect.

If you're a fan of Critical Role and artwork, you'll want just about half of the art in this book as a series of tapestries on your walls. Hear that, Geek and Sundry? Physical art. Tapestries. Large prints.

What a wonderful tribute to this pervasive story.

Within these pages you will find a summary of Vox Machina's adventures together, beautifully illustrated by fanartists of the Critical Role community. If you're a fan of the show (which, for the uninitiated, is an online show where nerdy-ass voice actors sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons) this is a delightful retelling of the first half of campaign 1. Definitely a recommended buy for fans! If you're not a fan, this might not grab you the same way, but the art is glorious and at the end of the book you find address to where you can find more art from all artists featured within. So yeah, highly recommended book, so much gorgeous art!

I have had this for a while and occasionally flipped through it. Finally sitting down and reading it in full was so nostalgic and made me want to re-watch campaign one.

Ever since I found myself spiralling into the Critical Role fandom, i've been stunned by not just the quantity of the art, but the outstanding quality of it all. This book is a perfect showcase of that passion.

Now i'm just mad that my other fandoms don't all have quality showcases like this.

I can't wait for volume 2.
