Boring. Don't like the main character. Not interested.

Loved this book! Full of suspense and twists. Way better than "The Girl on the Train" in my opinion. Fast read too.

As a fan of psychological thrillers, this book was a good book to read in between other readings however I must say it was tough to start. The beginning has a slow start and the story line can be a bit confusing however once you become invested in the characters you will be left wondering what else is ahead. Although the ending seemed a bit rushed it was a good overall read.

I picked up this book because I heard Amy Adams is starring in a movie adaptation of this book (and it's coming to Netflix this fall) and I heard that Jake Gyllenhaal is starring in a show that is based on the author's (real name: Dan Mallory) life story.

This book was a quick read and once I made it about 60% through, I literally could not put it down. I can definitely see parallels to Girl on the Train, not so much Gone Girl (and I'm so tired of books being called the next "Gone Girl.")

Thrilling and suspenseful. Page-turner until the end. The author’s use of imagery is powerful and poetic, and really appeals to the senses.

Ugh, this dragged on and on and on with nothing happening. I finally read the recap on Wikipedia and I'm glad I stopped when I did.
