david mamet can fuck RIGHT off

I'll never forgive David Mamet for Oleanna, but this play is insanely good and I would give my left arm to act in it. Tight, funny, tense, brilliant all at once. Bonus points awarded for reading the play after seeing the movie (because now I get to reflect fondly on Al Pacino calling Kevin Spacey a stupid cunt, which brings my heart great joy.)

Interesting play about masculinity, but I didn't particularly find it that entertaining to read. I often found myself drifting off.

What a bleeping sweaty little play. I have no idea how it would be staged, which I guess is the point. Mamet has left it all up to the director and the actors. Entertaining like the movie.

I didn't like this play until I saw it performed.

As a matter of fact, I used to hate this play. Not because of all the swearing--that never bothered me much--but because the only thing I got from it was how to say "motherfucker" with sass. As fun as that sounds, this one particular skill is not conducive to my overall appreciation for plays that casually drop the m-f bomb in places where you least expect it to show up.
