This was great! I loved it! As a filmmaker myself and someone with a somehow similar story to the protagonist and his mum with my grandfather and I, I was mesmerized by the entire manga.
I'm also so glad that this is a one volume manga, I just finished Chainsaw Man or what's out at the moment and I needed to read another manga so badly, this was the perfect volume.

(Also, I don't post the mangas I read up here unless they're one shots 'cause it isn't aesthetically pleasing seeing all those volumes on my feed.)

Fujimoto by way of Satoshi Kon with an extra heaping of depressing interpersonal drama. You can really see his love for movies on display here, and the way Fujimoto structures the panels of this manga bring you into the world beautifully.
