An interesting premise but seemed unnecessarily obfuscated to me. I liked the concept of trying to tell a story about a filmmaker (especially from his point of view through the screen of his phone) in a manga but, I'm not convinced it was always successful or helped with the narrative.

the way fujimoto writes grief and his female characters >> such an interesting way to make use of the idleness of manga panels, too!! also, the story’s paradox of never knowing where reality turns into fiction GOD i wish this was longer than it was, i needed more of it 😔☝️but one shots are one shots for a reason *shrug
