a book that manages to pretty perfectly encapsulate what I love about cinema, even though the book as a whole is pretty tragic. the ability to make something about yourself, for yourself, and the others around you: the heart, love, hate, humanity, and the otherworldly, fantastic feelings that come along with that, and maybe every now and then a little ridiculousness and fantasy to break it up a little.

Got an hour? Want to feel something? Read this.

This One-Shot Manga really just messed me up. It literally took me an hour to read and from the moment I opened the book to the end I just wanted more. I still want more, really. Amazing.

Somehow Tatsuki Fujimoto does not MISS! This book made me tear up at multiple points and the art is skillfully done as always. An extremely striking story of remembrance, love, and art.

Well, now I’m sad

I think Tatsuki Fujimoto is a very talented artist. I didn’t think it was possible to capture the feeling of someone filming through a camera lense as our pov but he is a master of motion.

Grief is the most common told story out there, huh? It’s also the most complicated and where it begins and ends doesn’t quite line up perfectly. Much like parts of this story. You start to question what’s real and what’s part of the movie, but in reality it’s all intertwined.

Like Eri, not crying easily through cliches but because the story resonated with her. Or both can be correct, it can be cliche AND it can resonate with her.
