To go from Chainsaw Man -> Look Back -> Goodbye, Eri is such a wild journey. There was something about his storytelling that I found mesmerizing in Chainsaw Man, but it was hard to describe. I see it more clearly in the other standalone stories, but I still can't put it into words. To be so far into the realm of the bizarre and yet represent the nuance of the human experience is what makes Fujimoto so special. It doesn't always land, mind you, but I can't help but be in awe by his ability.
