You know when you're reading a book, and you come to a good stopping point to go to sleep, "adult", etc... well... this book was so action packed that there was never a good stopping point. Yeah, I had to put it down to do other things, but every time, it was all I could do to finish whatever needed to be done so I could pick it back up again. It was THAT AMAZING! Every chapter had me on the edge of my seat desperate for more. I was on pins and needles anxious to find out what would happen next. I loved the character cast... the old and new elite, the girls, the villains... the whole plot! The book was dark... it had me close to tears at times, feeling the characters' pain. It had steam coming out of my ears from how angry parts of it made me. But I loved every minute of it. Now on to book 2 because I NEED MORE!
(free on kindle unlimited , glad I didn't pay actual money for this)
What the actual f was this. This had so many chances to be a good book but SO VIOLENT AND DISGUSTING TOWARDS WOMEN AND WRITTEN BY A WOMAN?? Could fill a book with the trigger warnings you would need to get through this. I read the whole thing because it was 3am and I couldn't sleep and desperately wanted it to get better but nope. This really could've been good but it was so let down by the over the top violence and sexual abuse.
And there are SEQUELS???

Jesus! What did I just read? Cruel Intentions just blew my mind! I loved Abby and Cam so hard. I'm a little lose for words on how to even describe this book. Siobhan Davis is a master at evoking feelings through her writing and this story left me both incredibly sad for the characters and angry beyond words for them. This is the first book of the Rydeville Elite series and had me hooked from the first chapter. The heroine, Abby, is amazing. She is put through so much and still stands strong. She is everything I love for a female lead. Camden is just incredible, and I want one for myself. That ending though. I think I've said this about every book Siobhan has ever written, but she leaves you on a cliffhanger that has you screaming needing to know what happened next! I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the 2nd book to release. Grab this now if you haven't yet. You will not be disappointed.
This book was everything, the first one I have read of Siobhan’s and I’m dying for the next one, especially after that cliffy! Must read.
I mean not a whole lot happened and the main character let herself be sideswiped by everything at the end by giving up all the control she fought so hard for in order to sleep with the guy. She went from a controlling and unhealthy dynamic with her father to a controlling and unhealthy dynamic with her lover. And what was revealed at the end is like 100% unforgivable but it's clear she'll forgive him in the next book which is just annoying. Can't decide if I hate myself enough to satisfy my curiosity and read the next one.
