I've read 2 other books by the author and loved them, but this one wasn't her best. I didn't like any characters, and Nora was not the smartest cookie. It was pretty easy to figure out the who/why of the mystery early on.

Pros: Beautiful author voice. Characters were mildly engaging. Premise was good. 

Cons: Halfway through, there hadn't been enough suspense or chills to keep me wanting to read further. Main character was kind of annoying, and her thoughts and moments of turmoil were repetitive. I just didn't care about her or any of the other characters enough to keep reading.

It's not quite a 4 star, I didn't particularly like the 75% mark twist. Other than that it's a 4 star. I understand how it plays into the rest of the story, but that doesn't seem like a good twist to focus in on, personally.
