Honestly absolutely nothing was shocking and it was painfully obvious. With that being said I did enjoy this and like the atmosphere. It was interesting to see the relationship dynamics. I loved Nina she was honestly my favorite part of this book. It’s your newer to thrillers I would recommend this, but if your not and are looking for a big plot twist and not just a good time I wouldn’t recommend this.

I've read 2 other books by the author and loved them, but this one wasn't her best. I didn't like any characters, and Nora was not the smartest cookie. It was pretty easy to figure out the who/why of the mystery early on.

okay this book was so damn good. I don’t know why it took me so long to pick it back up again, but i read a majority of it in one sitting - I couldn’t put it down!

reminded me a lot of of gillian flynn’s work.

Another great Ruth Ware mystery. Yes, they are formulaic but I love the formula so I don't care. This has got me out of a reading slump.

This felt like more of a mystery than a thriller. <Spoiler>the book starts off with our main character, Nora in the hospital trying to remember everything that happened in order, "starting at the beginning".<Spoiler> it wasn't very thrilling, in my opinion.

The part that bothered me the most is that all the characters acted like they were still in highschool. They all felt very immature for people who were supposed to be in their mid-to-late 20s.

The plot twists and drama didn't do it for me. There was one part that had that classic thriller feel to it, but the rest felt dull to me.
