i really loved this book
this was one of those books that got you feeling giggly and excited half way through when things were finally progressing and you wanted the main character to just GET THE BOY
i will say this book also did make me laugh a few times during simon’s drunkenness
however, i did enjoy the movie a lot more, but the book was also a true bundle of joy that i will not forget

For so long, I avoided reading this. Love, Simon is probably in my top three favorite movies of all time, and I was afraid that the book would somehow taint the movie that I love so much. Luckily, after I got used to how different it is, I loved it! While the movie makes me cry every single time, this was a more heartwarming telling, and there is definitely room for both versions to exist in my heart.

Near-perfect YA. Sweetly romantic without being overly saccharine.

*3.5 stars* I really enjoyed this book! The protagonists were so funny and Simon was just so entertaining and fascinating to read about! I would say this a good introduction to a topic I read very little about. I wouldn't say this book was mind blowing but it also wasn't bad ... I look forward to Becky Albertalli's next books! (Hopefully she writes some new ones)
