Okay like ... It's not the book it's me. I can't. I don't really like the characters and I'm not captivated enough by it.

And when I was immersed, I wasn't stable enough for it so.

I personally am someone who gravitates towards non-fictions or historical reads, rarely do I pick up a romance… but I am glad that I did this time. First Love is written beautifully, I really enjoyed the way in which Turgenev is able to characterize love, and express it not just through the characters but through their environment as well. This text is beautifully written and was honestly a fun read, a good change of pace.
