I have loved every book that Greta has written, and I think this one is my favorite so far! This book was packed full of angst, steam, romance, it just had it all and I loved every moment of this book! I have looked forward to Abey’s story for awhile!
Abey is struggling with coming out. She has come out to her family and close friends. Her parents weren’t happy about it and they shunned her. Greta wrote her side of the story so beautifully and I felt connected to her right away!
Devo is such a beautiful soul! She grew so much in this book! She is a spitfire and I fell for her ages ago! I was rooting for her even when she was being a naughty little felon! She as well didn’t have the best support, at least from her father.
This story was steamy, angsty, romantic, but it was so much more than that! This book was so different than Greta’s other books. I was expecting a suspense element, but regardless of that it didn’t need it! The story was just beautiful and everything I needed.
This book will make you laugh, it will make you angry and it will make you sob!!! I am writing this as tears are falling down my face, but I wanted to write this review while it was fresh in my mind. If you love found family, amazing character growth and books that will just stick with you for a very long time, check it out!
