Man, I wanted to like this book but the main character is has absolutely no self awareness, she only wants to look cute and be with a cute guy, etc. She not only runs from her issues/problems, but refuses to think about her future until 3 people push her to. I know not all main characters should be “good” but damn I don’t want girls reading this. Gross.

I think this book is really cute and was easy to read. I really loved the banter between the two characters. It was refreshing.

absolutely adorable

After reading dungeons and drama I decided to keep reading more works by Kristy Boyce. I just love the characters she creates and she once again did not disappoint. The one starts with a bang! I had a hard time keeping interested in the middle but that was mostly just me keeping interested in a ya romance where I’m use to an adult romance book but once I got past the middle I really enjoyed the rest of the book. I loved the banter between Ellie and Dev and the friendships that bloomed along the way.

This was our newest book for book club. I stayed up way too late reading it in one sitting. It was predictable but enjoyable.
