To me, this book is worth reading just for the eulogy that J Jonah Jameson writes for Spider-man. I admit it, I cried.

AHHH. IT'S OVER. :C
5 stars because it's the last one and there was so much sass.
The ending was pretty much perfect and everything was wrapped up well.
But for some reason the version I was reading didn't have the X-Men and Fantastic Four crossovers, and now I'm slightly confused and I need to find them.

An excellent send off for Ultimate Spider-Man collected long with a dull send-off for Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men.
The collection is worth is just for Bendis's Ultimate Spider-Man Requiem. Feel free to skp the others.

Having made the worst of it, Jeph Loeb scampers off somewhere to ruin someone else's day and leaves more capable writers to do what they can to patch things up.
And, much like how just watching peroxide bubble and foam out of a nasty scrape when I was little seemed to do just as much good as the actual disinfection, 'Requiem' works in two ways. It acknowledges all the dumb crap that's happened in the past few issues and implores everyone to take a moment to pull themselves together and move on.
The sooner we get over this the sooner we can pretend that everyone died of SARS or something. It is still supposed to be early aughts in the Ultimate Universe right?
Ultimate Marvel
Next: 'Ultimate Vision' (Should have been after the 'Galactus' arc, oh well)
Previous: 'Ultimatum: X-Men/Fantastic Four'

The coda to the Ultimatum event in the Ultimate Comics universe. I read if for the Spider-Man chunk (as I haven't followed Ultimate X-Men or Fantastic Four through the event). It was a nice, quiet afterwards for all the characters and an indication in where each of the books would be headed next.
