An entertaining locked room murder in space. Lafferty should not narrate her own books.

Fantastic!  I don't know what to say that won't give anything away, but this was SUCH a fun read.  It kept my mind reeling with the possibilities and trying to find the connections, trying to solve the murders, trying to figure out a way out.  It was just so many wonderful things!

I knew this was a murder mystery in space, with clones, but I didn't realize that ALL the characters woke up in fresh bodies at the beginning. They've all been attacked AND they're all suspects. With no memory of the past 25 years, no ship logs, and no ability to make a new batch of clones if things get murdery again. And then Lafferty starts dropping in hints and backstory.
Great fun, would definitely read again someday when the exciting twists get fuzzy. Good future world building with thought around tech and politics, good cast of characters (the main 6 are 3 men and 3 women, with different geographical and language backgrounds including one from the moon).
I was even on board with all the hand waving fantasy science,
Spoilerright up until "oh yeah, and we can now make clones with all of our recent memories using our saliva
