Okay I love it when library audiobooks come through at a time when I wasn’t really expecting and then I have to take a break from the heavier topics for a little bit of romance. 
 
Goddamn this book is good. Dark Mafia romance with glorious smutty scenes (like actually inventive scenes) and plenty of romance and intrigue involved. Her actually being weirded out by his initial comments and obsessive behaviour and watching him tone it down and listen to her??? It’s well paced if the obsessive-ness from him comes on strong.

Honestly needed a silly little dark romance break in my reading and now I’m going to read the rest of them.

The spice is so good, but there’s only really a couple of spicy scenes, a lot of kink negotiation and more plot than either of these.

Quando vi que foi a mesma autora que escreveu PenPal comecei a rir, porque não sabia ( é o que dá ler os livros ser saber de quem são e as sinopses ). O que é engraçado porque tinha no pensamento que o Kage era o David, ou então que eles estavam mortos também, aí ser engraçado porque não sabia que era da mesma autora que me fez dizer para mim mesma 10x que aceitava a minha m**te depois de ler aquele livro.

Agora falemos deste.

Gostei imenso. Estou ansiosa para ler a história da melhor amiga da Nat.
Gostei como se desenrolou o drama todo com eles, mas para ser sincera ainda acho que esse tal Max ainda esteva vivo…

3 smutty stars!

Mafia king falling for his target is not a new trope and even though I could spot the twists from afar, this was well written and engaging.

I loved those steamy scenes not gonna lie. Even got some inspo soooo .....

It’s all insta-loving and all but this was a very good read. I’m surprised that after all is said and done I didn’t love it more...
