FANTASTIC from start to finish. Plot, characters, banter….all of it…just wow. If you have triggers check those first, and if you don’t like sexual content in your book it you may not like this one.

Natalie has been stuck in the past, five years of grieving her missing fiance, five years of wondering whether he is alive or dead. The despair she felt still lingers and the feeling of lonliness overwhelms her. However, everything changes when a handsome bad boy named Kage moves in next door. Natalie finds herself drawn to him and unexpectedly begins to feel whole again when he is near. Kage has some dark secrets hidden from Natalie, when the truth comes to light, working through it together is a challenge that will either make or break them.

I really wanted to like Ruthless Creatures, but unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver. The insta-love felt forced and lacked any real justification or development. I couldn't get on board with how quickly everything escalated between the characters without any emotional buildup or depth.
