I thought this was going to be a feminist, female power type thing but was disappointed. Also instances of acephobia. 

Charlotte is all, I’m not going to marry because it puts me in a bad position, bound to a man even if I love him, but being a mistress seems like a good idea? So she can be penniless on the streets if he tires of her? I was super annoyed by that and the acephobia which I write more under the trigger warnings

one instance that really stood out to me was that despite Charlotte’s close bond with her sister Livia, she says she only feels human when she experiences sexual and romantic attraction. That is very dehumanizing language to someone who is ace. Also plays into the stereotype that ace people are robots or sociopaths and other kinds of love, such as sister love, doesn’t count. Really annoyed by all this!
