Meh! A lot of talk about the “Laws” as if they were an approved and recognised method of evaluating simple vs complex systems.
It’s a quick book, but save yourself the hour and pass this by.

Interesting, but it seemed disorganized somehow.

"The world's always been falling apart, so relax"

A nice quick read with a few solid thoughts.

DID NOT FINISH

Simplistic, yet posing as insightful.

This book is dated.

A beautiful gem of a book. An blend of an artistic and engineering perspective on the nature and practice of simplicity.

Some choice quotes:
"Knowledge is comfort, and comfort lies at the heart of simplicity."

"A gentle, inspired start is the best way to draw students, or even a new customer, into the immersive process of learning."

"The practice of education is the highest form of intellectual philanthropy."

"More white space means that less information is presented. In turn, proportionately more attention shall be paid to that which is made less available. When there is less, we appreciate everything much more."

"We can only truly relax when we trust that we're in the finest hands and are treated with the best intentions."

Interesting, but it seemed disorganized somehow.
