I really enjoyed Crowley's actor. Ah, so good.
I really loved this dramatized audio adaptation of Good Omens. The only thing I didn't need was the occasional background music, but other than that it was delightful. I will most likely read this one physically some day but I think the Amazon Prime show will be next. I liked the story and enjoyed the fun in it too.

Book club read #2.
You know that feeling when you really wanted to like a book, but just didn't? That was this book for me. I guess the humor just didn't hit right. I do have a feeling that this will work much better as a show (much like the tv adaptation of Douglas Adam's Dirk Gently). If nothing else, the show has David Tennant!
Probably the two favorite comedies that I've ever read were The Prince and the Pauper, and A Room with a View. They both have serious moments, both have a solid story line, and the humor is well placed. I have a hard time reading for absurdity alone. I do think a lot of the pieces of Good Omens would have been a lot funnier, too, if the book had allowed some breathing room for the humor, because it has some genuinely clever passages.
Essentially, my thoughts on the book were as follows: it was anticlimactic throughout, not very funny, there were too many 11 year old conversations, and I just didn't like most of the absurd side characters.
To follow the naming conventions in Good Omens, it's a solid probably-and-most-possibly-would-not-have-finished-without-a-book-club-to-discuss-it-with type of book for me.

My feelings on Good Omens are a little complex, particularly because I felt like I got what I like least from both Pratchett and Gaiman's writing respectively. While it had humour peppered throughout I found myself caring little for the plot and as more and more characters were introduced the book became a real task to get through, which I've never felt for either author's solo work. Just not for me I suppose

I would have given this five stars if not for the fact they made Anathema Device sleep with a wet blanket of a man when it’s obvious she’s a practical goth lesbian.
Milieu un peu plat mais début et fin très chouette
Very good. If you like comedy, it's a very solid and excellent addition to your collection.
