World finally came together - adorable couple

What do you get when you put a himbo with a salty girl with ADHD (not officially stated in the book but… if you know you know) ? You get the spiciest Ruby book yet! It was so fun to have a pan MMC and he had such a good growth arc. I was a little uncertain about the moving between worlds as a god thing, but she pulled it off.

Spice: 5/5

Triggers: Listed at beginning of book

i would trade ALL of my earthly possessions for a happy, sunshine god of the wild to show up in my life, resuscitate all of the plants i’ve killed, turn my living room into the stray kitty headquarters, and promise to protect and love me for all of time.

this was my favorite one by FAR of this series — not only is it 200 pages shorter than the other two (the perfect length!), kassam is an ANGEL. this is a sort of reverse grumpy sunshine and truly there is nothing i enjoy reading more than a happy, kind, eager-to-please, joyful MMC. the broody, hates-everyone-but-her is nice, but it gets so tiring. FEEL SOME JOY! give me a man that will eat a stick of butter out of my fridge just because it’s new and exciting to him. give me a man that loves all animals, big and small. give me KASSAM, god of the wild.

Really wasn't a fan of this book. I felt like transporting us into "our" world was a bit like jumping the shark for me. It took me a bit out of the story, and made me feel less like I was actually engaging in something and more like I was just reading words on the page. Which is a shame, because I was a fan of a lot of aspects of this book!

I like the MML, I liked the fact he was bisexual, I liked a lot of the sexual intercourse and those bits. I liked how friendly he was, and how happy. I really did like him a lot!

The MFL wasn't anything special to me. Nothing about her really stood out in my mind, which happens sometimes, but she was pretty forgettable.

All in all, this book was a book I read -- and while I don't think I'd re-read it again, maybe I'd have a different opinion if I did. As it is, 1.5 feels both too generous and too weak at the same time.
