This is only my second Holmes story but I really enjoyed it and want to read more. I’m starting to think I would make a very bad detective as I only guessed one thing in this and it was not part of the case.

Ever wondered what happens when Sherlock Holmes faces a case that seems more like a ghost story than a crime? Well, *The Hound of the Baskervilles* by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will give you exactly that - a mystery that will make you question whether it's science or supernatural.

**Plot Summary**
The story is about the murder of Sir Charles Baskerville, a very influential old man who was murdered one night, which the locals considered to be supernatural. The Baskerville family is cursed to die at the hands of the hound living in the caves of the moor. The whole thing sounds crazy, but that's what makes it interesting.

**What Makes It Different**
Unlike other books by Sir Arthur, which are logic-based and based on real speculation, here Sherlock Holmes and his partner Watson go on an adventure to find the truth about a case that is considered to be supernatural. Sherlock and Watson took this case to solve and to prove that it is indeed an intended murder and not some superstition.

**My Opinion**
I enjoyed this book a lot, but I always love the way Sherlock finds ways to solve a case. What disappointed me in this story is that there is not much of Sherlock's activity in solving the case. The author could have made the story more technically detailed to make it more interesting. Despite this, it's also the most interesting one because of its unique supernatural angle.

**Final Rating**
**4/5 stars** - If you like mysteries with a supernatural twist, this one will keep you hooked, even though you might miss Sherlock's usual detective brilliance.
