10/10. Even though this volume had some more heavy themes in it, I still have so much love for the characters. Once again, I love Nick Nelson with all my heart. I am going through a rough mental health journey right now so what Charlie was going through was kind of comforting in a way.

The sweetest graphic novels and depictions of teens coming out and experiencing Queer joy. HIGHLY recommend. Such a feel good series but they also touch on real life experiences with school bullies, sibling bullying, strained family dynamics, navigating crushes and relationships as Queer couples and teens, coming out to family and friends, self-harm, eating disorders, mental illness, homophobia, transphobia, etc. I think these are just so well done and despite some of the heavy but necessary themes they touch on they always go back to the joy to be found in navigating Queer relationships.
