I KNOW I said the last one was my favorite, but this one is actually my favorite. Oseman has such a talent for rendering teenage and young adult experiences in a way that feels real. This doesn't stop at her depiction of what being queer is like - she shows in this volume that she has the chops to depict mental health support and mental illness recovery in a real manner.

Very wholesome as always. I really like the mental health aspect of it, I thought it was dealt with well

Another great addition to the series. I liked that the book delved deeper into the problems Charlie and Nick face and did so in a realistic way. I like that the story doesn't shy away from some of the more difficult topics and remains respectful of the seriousness of eating disorders and mental illness. I liked the part where Nick and Charlie realize that it isn't healthy to be so all consumed by a relationship and that your relationships with other people in your life are just as important. Overall, can't wait to read volume 5 when it comes out.
