Love this book and love this series. It was a fun reread, especially knowing the main plot twist. But there were also a few minor plot points that I had forgotten, and it was fun to re-experience those. Excited for the next 4 books!

I don't usually listen to audiobooks, but I needed something to listen to, it was available for check out through Overdrive, and sounded interesting so I thought, why not? Charlie McWade can read me a book anytime. And Jennifer A. Nielsen is a wonderful author! I only planned to listen to a few more chapters before bed and ended up being up until 3am. I'm torn between grabbing a hard copy of "The Runaway King" or wait for the audio so that Charlie McWade can read to me some more.
