All my favorite things in a book.

Trials for love? Yes. A brooding dark prince? Yes. Badass FMC? Yes. Enemies to lovers? Yes.

If you were obsessed with The Selection like I was but have moved onto more fantasy and romance books, this is exactly what you want.

My attention was grabbed immediately for this book and never let it go. A few takeaways…

-On page 10 I was ready to throw down for Lor. You will love her.

-The real and found family moments are wonderful and get you right in the heart.

-If someone feels icky then they are icky. I kept making excuses for a certain someone and I’m sure that’s a part of the reading journey but trust your gut lol

-the masquerade ball will live rent free in my mind

Immediately starting the next one!

Espero de todo corazón que la autora nos dé una versión más extendida de la historia de Rowan y Wicked. Me muero por ver el reencuentro entre los hermanos y a donde lleva la historia a los protagonistas.

A decent enemies to lovers novella with some spice. The characters could have used more development and I felt the MMC did some things I had a hard time forgiving buuuuut I knew what I signed up for here and it was an enjoyable read.
