Everything about this book was a no from me. The whole flashback to their previous relationship wasn’t necessary. Not to mention I would never take him back after what he did to her.

Cute book but very different from Christina Lauren's other books. Less spicy which was a nice change. The plots are always so good with their books. This book was lacking the typical funny one-liners, the banter between characters. It would introduce a character but then there wasn't much development for them. And it just sort of.......ended. nothing really wrapped up, it just stopped.

It was a cute and fairly unique story. I’d rate it higher but it was really quick and rushed and could have been better if slowed down and just more to it in general.

When Tate is 18, she and her Nana go to London to celebrate.  They meet Luther and Sam.  Sam is there celebrating his 21st birthday with his adoptive grandfather.  Tate and Sam fall in love quickly and she tells him her biggest secret – that her estranged father is Ian Butler, uber famous actor.  And then Sam betrays her.
Fast forward 14 years.  Tate is now a successful actress.  She assumes that Sam went back to the family farm, but she rarely thinks of him any more.  Until she walks on to the set of her new movie and realizes he’s the screenwriter.  She’s stressed out enough about her first film with her father, but this may just push her over the edge.
This one was cute.  There weren’t any surprises (except how awful a Hollywood father can be), and it was a quick and easy read.  And a nice reminder that I’m not in the public spotlight b/c it sounds AWFUL.

Not my favorite Christina Lauren book. I felt like it started a little slowly and it was difficult to get into the book. I kind of wish it had been dual POV so that you could see the things from Sam’s perspective.
