People told me that I was going to LOVE this book and omg I did.

This book is about a 18-year old girl who goes on vacation with her nana to London. While being there she gets to meet Sam and his grandpa Luther. They fall in love but then he dissapears and tells her secret to the world. 14 years later, they meet again.

This book was just so cute. I kept rooting for them to get together, they just were perfect for each other. Also, the entire story was kind of cheesy but not as basic as so many other books that I read. The fact that he sold her out made the book different and I really liked that. I also find that the book is written is such a way that it is really easy to read the book. I read this book in just a few hours and I think that for these kind of stories that is just perfect.

Absolutely loved it, 100% recommend this book.

não é um livro ruim, mas não curti muito.
As partes fofinhas foram ótimas, mas o pano de fundo achei bem chato :(

I usually love Christina Lauren books, but Twice in a Blue Moon just didn’t work for me. Around the 75% mark, I was seriously tempted to DNF—something I rarely consider, especially that far into a book. The only reason I finished it was because I was already so close to the end.
The pacing felt slow, especially once Tate and Sam reconnected years later on the movie set. That part of the story dragged and lacked the emotional impact I was hoping for.
Spoilers ahead: I really didn’t love the ending. Leaking information to the press again felt like an odd and unnecessary plot device. Was there really no better way for Tate and Sam to find their way back to each other? It just didn’t feel satisfying. And Tate’s dad, Ian—who could’ve added some interesting layers—ultimately felt like a flat character who didn’t contribute much, especially during the on-set scenes.
I’m not usually this critical of a book, especially from this author duo, but this one just didn’t deliver the heart or chemistry I’ve come to expect from their stories.
