you can be a liberal, you can be a republican, you can be a democrat, it doesn’t matter, you need to read this book. megan does an outstanding job of bringing light to the social and political problems of our day. she shows the fight for equal pay, women and lgbtq rights, and BLM. megan never brought the other party down in her fight for equality, she’s hilarious and brilliant, and this is a book that will last generations. this was amazing.

I have tremendous respect for Megan Rapinoe as a bold, proud gay woman in the world of sports so I think I had my expectations a bit too high for her book. The writing wasn’t anything extraordinary and the book was one of the more repetitive I’ve read but she makes important points while telling her story.

Such an honest and interesting story. Megan tells her own personal story while weaving in the context behind her choices.
Would recommend to any soccer or sports lover!
