i actually think i would rate this book closer to a 1 or 2, but i bumped it up to a 3 because i liked the series as a whole.
the main character in this series is super annoying and a lot of the dialogue is cringey, but i was really interested in finding out more about the story so i powered through it. after reading the previous book i was very excited to find out how things wrapped up and i was really disappointed.
i found this book to be unnecessarily long, all of the buildup from the prior books ended up being for nothing, and the character romances dominated the plot.
i would recommend this series if you enjoy YA fantasy and are ok with sex scenes lol but i would not recommend this book. i think i could have ended with the previous book and been happier.

I’ve never had a roller coaster of emotions like I did at the end of this series. As someone who somewhat read all of her books out of order and I can see how she (being Sarah) emerged from this series into this next. Honestly, all these characters could have their own set of books. I fell in love with each and everyone of them
