This book was truly a wild ride. I can see the author taking me on a wild ride and I can also see his not so subtle commentary on humanity.

This book was sadly just too much for me. The constant low-level to high-level misogyny, the xenophobic and ableist language, and then the animal cruelty were just not what I was expecting and while I actually do really want to know how it ends, it’s just not a book for me and that’s ok. Weird way to start the year though 😂

This was a huge waste of time and I’m mad at myself for powering through this drivel. Absolutely no plot. Strong misogyny.

Love the concept; love the theme. However, the book is a slog to read for well over the first half, with cringy characters that are impossible to connect with. The balance between humor and tension is way off. Mainly because the humor is that of a 15 year old ass, who wants nothing more than to talk about boobs AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Listen, I like the whole “people being the real monster” trope, but without enjoyable characters stuck in the situation, I find I’m just waiting around for people to die. And with this story, you will be waiting around for a while.

The concept for this book was fantastic but the ultimate execution was very much lacking, especially in the back half of the book.
Additionally
Way too much nipple torture and very poorly written female characters

Made for an uncomfortable read at times and not in the good way
