I had to reread this book before Kingdom of the Feared is released soon!
I love this trilogy and I‘m very excited for the finale.
The worldbuilding is amazing, but I miss the Italian setting from the first book, even though it shines through when Emilia is cooking.
There were quite a few plot twists I didn‘t see coming and the tension between Wrath and Emilia was off the charts.
I hope Kingdom of the Feared will be able to tie up all loose ends and bring the series to a satisfying conclusion.

This book was definitely an improvement from the first one, but it still left me wanting more. The spice was definitely there this time and Wrath is probably one of my favorite male love interests of all time, but god damn Emilia is still the most annoying character. Sometimes she's bearable and the next chapter I seriously consider DNF'ing the book because of how fucking stupid she is. However, I'm 2 books into a 3 book series so I'm curious to see how the final book plays out.

I'm reading a lot of reviews about how Chapter 17 gave them the "ick" and I *personally* didn't think it was the worst thing I've ever read. Yes, it was not completely necessary but I understood where the author was going with the scene. I understand how it can be triggering but it didn't hurt the story for me *personally*

Also - saw Wrath being the Devil himself and had a feeling Vittoria was still alive. I mean she literally told Emilia in the first book she was doing shady shit, but I'm curious how it'll all play out in this final book.

Omg this book. It has everything I wanted and that was missing from the first one - all that tension between Wrath & Emilia coming to head! All their scenes were great and I really enjoyed seeing in to the different Sin's castles. I did find some of it a bit predictable but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book. I just need more answers!
I loved every minute and couldn't put it down - although I then struggled as I knew I'd get destroyed at the end and Kerri did not disappoint there - I definitely need the next one now!!

GAAAAH I LOVE THIS SERIEEESS!!! This book is a strong 5 ⭐️ but it was a bit hard to get hooked from the beginning. It had been awhile since I read the first book and did not remember who had killed who and so on, I was a little bit disoriented.  BUUUT I WAS SO GLAD I CONTINUED BECAUSE GAH I LOVED IT❤️❤️❤️
